This one day course aims to introduce participants to the Groovy language. Groovy is a dynamically typed language for the Java platform and runs on the Java Virtual Machine. The course is highly interactive; participants will be encouraged to write Groovy classes and scripts, thus applying the material introduced in the presentation part of the course. Participants will experience Groovy first hand and gain experience using the tools provided by the Groovy distribution and popular Groovy integrated development environments.
This course is great for developers and managers investigating the use of Groovy within their own software development organizations.
